Client Testimonials

Rebecca is that rare combination of talent, skill and gifted intuition. Her education in the body and different bodywork modalities, combined with her intuitive sense of what is out-of-order in the body lying on her massage table, helps her tune in quickly and get to the root of the problem. Time is never wasted when you’re in her massage studio. Her effective approach builds on each session, helping her clients move forward in their own body’s recovery. Regular sessions with her have eliminated several issues I’d believed to be chronic. She has helped me find more freedom in my movements and her work has set my body on the proper course for not only maintaining, but improving its overall health.

I was referred to Rebecca after 1.5 years of suffering with a back injury for which no other doctor or physical therapist could a) identify the root cause, or b) find an effective treatment to remedy my pain and get me back into my regular life activities. To say the least…I was getting pretty desperate – I did imaging (MRI’s and X-Rays) and met with 4 different medical professionals. Might I add – I’m a 32 year-old athlete / outdoor enthusiast….so I was left stumped by this medical puzzle and why my body was healing like I was 75 years of age. After my first integrated massage with Rebecca, I instantly booked follow-up sessions. In the first visits I appreciated her holistic understanding of the human body it’s interconnectedness, as well as her fine detail to comprehending my life’s health story and how it could have played a role. After a few integrated massage visits, we transitioned our strategy to incorporating the Rossiter method to try and break up some of the fascia knots she felt I may have. This was where the real magic happened. I could feel my body untangling years-old issues from past broken bones and injuries, and most importantly my back improved from a consistent daily pain of 8 out of 10 to a low-degree pain of 1 or 2 out of 10. Consistency has paid off, for it took 3 to 5 Rossiter sessions before I really felt the real leaps and bounds in improvement and I continue to do these sessions with her to this day. Aside from her talent, Rebecca is an absolute joy to hang out with and has truly become a friend. Whether it’s a long-term issue you’re wanting to finally tackle, or just your body not feeling optimal and you want to improve how you feel – I can’t recommend highly enough Rebecca’s practice. She’s the Sh*t 🙂

Rebecca is just amazing at what she does! I tried many therapists to find her. She does not only massage, she works on your body. I definitely recommend her. P.S. She is so strong if you like deep tissue massage.

Interesting timing – I just got done with my walk. While on my walk trying to pay attention to my body pains, and I realized that the stabbing pain just under my shoulder blade was gone and it got me thinking about you.

I think I told you, the pain in my left knee is 100% gone – after 18 months. Amazing. The current pain (which isn’t insignificant) is in my right hip. I’m working on that now. I haven’t done yoga at the studio since March. I’ve found plenty of exercises to do at home. I’ve made some changes. I sit on the floor while watching TV. I haven’t sat at my work desk since March. Half of the time I standing on my wobble board while at the desk. My posture is improved.

I’ve taken up “running”! My shin splints have final healed after 38 years. My right hip hasn’t been helping my running efforts but I’m working through it. I am currently “running” 30 minutes per day, 3-4 times a week at a very slow pace. I then do a half dozen 100 yard “sprints”. I own 3 pair of zero drop shoes. It is almost all that I wear. Soon it will be all I wear. The point is, it’s amazing how much influence you have had on my health. You’ve made comments regarding posture, sitting on the floor, heals and leg strength. This has lead to a lot of research which has resulted in change.

I wanted to thank you so much for encouraging me to try the Rositer work. As you know I generally don’t like deep pressure and I am the biggest sissy when it comes to pain, but the short-term challenges in doing this work are hugely outweighed by the benefits. I feel like I am back in my 20 year old body! And even better than that, the work is very enduring. It feels like the work we did over the past 3 weeks has increased the resiliency of my body. Over the weekend, I ended up moving a dresser and bed for my daughter, which historically would have tied my back up in knots for several days, but this weekend, I never felt any pain, tightness or discomfort. I also had a slight mishap this weekend that tweaked my back, and other than a few seconds of pain/tingling, there were no other effects. I am really impressed by this work and would strongly encourage other clients to try it. I am a fanatical believer in the value of this
work! Thanks so much for all of the great work you are doing!

After a series of sessions, I am thrilled to report a marked improvement in my mobility, reduced stiffness and pain, and a fraction of the headaches! Rebecca is constantly sharing her knowledge of various healing methods and I’ve adopted an awareness of my body and ways in which I can promote recovery on my own. I’ve also gained a friend whom I look forward to seeing every session—remarkably, Rebecca has turned my rehabilitation from a “pain in the neck” to a pleasure!

When I first learned about the Rossiter Method, I was a little scared. Being stepped on to relieve pain seems counterintuitive! But Rebecca’s calm and assuring manner made it a little easier to get down on the floor and let her begin. After the first session, I felt immediate relief and release, and each session built upon the last, so that by the end of my time with her, I felt 10 years younger and was moving much more efficiently.
